NEW BEERS IN STOCK

HELLO EVERYONE!!

We have a couple new additions in this week for your thirst quenching pleasure!

AYINGER Celebrator Doppelbock
Celebrator has a creamy head of tight bubbles contrasting beautifully with its profound dark robe. It is full-bodied and velvety from half a year’s aging. Although it is strong, it is not overpowering. There is a wonderful and complex balance between the various malts, the alcohol and the subtle hops. A complex fruitiness of roasted malt and whole hop flowers make Celebrator great as a party drink with friends and family at celebrations. Despite its richness, it has a faintly smoky dryness in the finish.

DOGFISH HEAD Midas Touch
Midas Touch Golden Elixir is a beverage based on the residue found on the drinking vessels in King Midas’ tomb. Our recipe highlights the known ingredients of barley, white Muscat grapes, honey and saffron. Somewhere between a beer, wine and mead, this smooth, dry ale will please with Chardonnay or I.P.A. drinker alike.
DOGFISH HEAD My Antonia
My Antonia (named after the Willa Cather read), is a continually-hopped imperial pilsner.

DOGFISH HEAD Namaste
A Belgian White made with dried organic orange slices, fresh cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander.

LAGUNITAS ipa
This is our unique version of an ancient style. A style as old as the ocean trade routes of the last centuries Great Ships. Not as old as the equator they had to cross twice enroute, nor as old as the 10,000 or so miles of Di-Hydrogen Oxide and Sodium upon which they sailed, but older than the Circulithium-4 Lentloid that binds the Lupulin Quartnate onto your taste buds. Weird. Think about it. Now stop. OK, go again, now stop. Think again, and stop. But we digress. Made with 43 different hops and 65 various malts, this redolent ale will likely float your boat, whatever planet you’re on.

NEW BEERS IN THIS WEEK

Winter is here! And so are some great BIG BEER winter brews!

ON DRAFT:
Flying Fish Grand Cru Winter Reserve 7.2%
This strong golden ale showcases a variety of the ingredients and brewing methods that help differentiate Flying Fish beers. The Grand Cru is fermented at a higher temperature than our other beers adding an undercurrent of fruitiness (although there is no fruit in the beer). Very lightly filtered, the Grand Cru exhibits complex mouthfeel, strong malt flavors, a spicy hop presence and a soothing alcohol warmth, followed by a clean, dry finish. Bottle conditioned, it is excellent with food as well as served by itself.

Corsendonk Christmas Ale 8.5%
First brewed and released in 1998, Corsendonk Christmas Ale is a rich, dark, joyous brew with which to celebrate the holiday season. Its aroma of chocolate malt and spices is reminiscent of the wonderful smells of holiday baking in Mom’s kitchen. On the palate this silky smooth ale is predominantly malty, with smoky, spicy and citrusy notes and a long, lingering finish that is lightly tart and malty. Round and well-balanced, it will be a welcome addition to holiday tables and parties.

Sierra Nevada Celebration Fresh Hop Ale  6.8%
The long, cold nights of winter are a little brighter with Celebration Ale. Wonderfully robust and rich, Celebration Ale is dry-hopped for a lively, intense aroma. Brewed especially for the holidays, it is perfect for a festive gathering or a quiet evening at home. With an ale as big as Celebration, you need a dish assertive enough to hold its own. Rich meats such as prime rib, lamb, or wild fowl underscore Celebration’s huge aroma, making a wonderful holiday meal.

IN BOTTLE:
Port Brewing Santas Little Helper  10.0%
Everything but the kitchen sink…Great Western Premium Two Row, Wheat, Carvienne, Caramunich, 95-115, 135-165L Crystal Malts, Chocolate, Roasted and Black Barley and Pale Chocolate. We also add some Brown Sugar and some Dark Belgian Candi Sugar to boost the Original Gravity.

Lagunitas Brown Shugga 9.9%
Brewed with 200 lbs. of brown sugar in each batch. Obviously, the result is a rich and very sweet brew. While there is a noticeable malt background, the sugar permeates every aspect: aroma, flavor, even the liquid texture. A big, interesting beer.

Weyerbacher Tiny 11.8%
Tiny is a Belgian inspired Imperial Stout. You’ll find big chocolate and roasted notes, balanced with the Belgian flavors from the Abbey yeast strain.

Stone Double Bastard  10%
Stone Brewing's Double Bastard Ale is the "Big Brother" of its cult favorite Arrogant Bastard Ale. It features a massive malt presence and intense bitter hop flavor and delivers a taste sensation designed for only the serious beer drinker. The front of the bottle reads "Ye shall know the Bastard, and the Bastard shall set you free."  The back label warns, "This is one lacerative muther of a beer.”  Make no mistake... it is not to be wasted on the weak or tentative.  If you purchase this bottle in a fit of foolish abandon, you will surely regret the decision.  Only the “Worthy” are invited, and then only at your own risk."

NEW BEERS JUST IN

NEW ON TAP:

FOUNDERS Breakfast Stout
The coffee lover's consummate beer. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and imported chocolates, and Sumatra and Kona coffee, this stout has an intense fresh roasted java nose topped with a frothy, cinnamon-colored head that goes forever.  8.3% ABV   60 IBUs

BEAR REPUBLIC Racer 5 IPA
This is a hoppy IPA. Did I say hops? Your brewer is a hop head! This is a full bodied beer using American grains. The goal was to create a base for showing off the unique floral qualities of two Pacific Northwest hops, Columbus and Cascade. Columbus is a new hybrid High Alpha Acid hop used mostly for bittering, but used heavily as an aromatic in this strong brew. Cascade is the balance that ties the malt and bittering hops together. It is a true specialty ale and is our brewer’s statement on this style.  7% ABV  75+ IBUs

WITTEKERKE Wheat
WITTEKERKE charms you with its own character, smooth taste and a unique delicious aroma. A very pleasant drink, light in alcohol with a crisp and refreshing flavor. WITTEKERKE is always served cold, but in taking your time to enjoy it, you will find more flowery and spring flavors towards the end of your glass. Although the hoppy bitterness is an underlying taste, it is never dominant. Perfect white head. 5% ABV

DOGFISH HEAD Palo Santo Marron
An unfiltered, unfettered, unprecedented brown ale aged in handmade wooden brewing vessels. The caramel and vanilla complexity unique to this beer comes from the exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood from which these tanks were crafted. Palo Santo means "holy tree" and it's wood has been used in South American wine-making communities. 12% ABV  50 IBUs

NEW IN BOTTLES:

FOUNDERS Centennial IPA
Get ready to bask in the glory of the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the citrus accents from the abundance of dry-hopping. This one’s sweet, yet balanced. Malty undertones shake hands with the hop character for a finish that never turns too bitter.   7.2% ABV 65 IBUs

POPERING Hommelbier
Hommel is the local abbreviation of humulus in the region around Poperinge, Belgium, derived from the botanical name for the hop plant. Brouwerij Van Eeke's Poperings Hommelbier is a hoppy, golden ale which is brewed with a blend of seasonal aromatic pale malts.  This beer is markedly refreshing.  7.5% ABV

ARCADIA Hopmouth IPA
The first beer in Arcadia's Brew Crew Big Beer Series. Huge amounts of Maris Otter Malt and a more than generous amount of fresh hops make this beer truly memorable.   8.1% ABV

PRETTY THINGS BEER & ALE PROJECT Jack D'Or
"Jack D'Or" is a simple table beer, or "Saison Americain" as we're referring to it. We are not trying to coin a beer style – we’re just having fun. At PRETTY THINGS we don't brew styles per se. Instead, we re-imagine everything and leave the style numbers in books on the shelves where they belong. What that means is that while other people might be able to put our beers into a category, we have a hard time with it! Our beers are first and foremost creative beasts, not "types" of beer.   6.4% ABV

Stop in and try one today! ;)

NEW BEERS IN THIS WEEK

BrewDog brewery is an award winning Scottish brewery producing beer of the highest quality.

"Beer was never meant to be bland, tasteless and apathetic. At BrewDog we are setting the record straight. We are committed to making the highest quality beers with the finest fresh natural ingredients. Our beers are in no way commercial or mainstream. We do not merely aspire to the proclaimed heady heights of conformity through neutrality and blandness. We are unique and individual. A beacon of non-conformity in a increasingly monotone corporate desert. We are proud to be an intrepid David in a desperate ocean of insipid Goliaths. We are proud to be an alternative."

We now carry BrewDog Chaos Theory (7.1% ABV) in 22 oz. bottles and BrewDog Punk IPA (6.0% ABV) in 12 oz. bottles

Boulder Beer Co. Mojo IPA
mojo: n. 1: A magic spell or charm; magical power; 2. A herbaceous ale that summons hop attacks.
Pale in color, but packed with flavor, mojo reflects the perfect balance of hop bitterness and malt character. the unique amarillo hop creates a big citrus flavor with an untra-crisp dry finish. 6.8% ABV

Coronado Brew Co. Idiot IPA
The CBC Idiot IPA is an all natural India Pale Ale. A big beer with an 8.5% ABV and brewed with over 3 pounds of hops per barrell. Watch out, this unfiltered "San Diego IPA" has been known to reduce even the most intelligent to a blithering "idiot".

LAGUNITAS Hop Stoopid
Lagunitas Hop Stoopid isnt stupid at all, but an enjoyable, well balanced Imperial IPA which pours a clean copper color with a tan head and lots of grapefruit and lime in the nose.
